Congradulations

Today is a good day, i have a meeting with Ms.Savido and i also got an email from my Planned Parenthood rep. and she wants to know when i can begin to come down to eh office and beign my interview with the staff. This is very important becouse I will be interviewing different people from differeint departments, from advertising to the clinical staff. Iam expecting alot of information.

Looking good people...

These past couple of days (since my last post), my project has really began to take off and become a reality.The planned parenthood representative and myself have stayed in contact and really came up with a lot of great ideas. For now I am simply researching and gathering the background information that I need to do this project. I'm starting to get a real grasp on what exactly Planned Parenthood is about and what they offer. Hopefully, soon I will be returning back to the building to get a more "personal" connection with the workers there.

Away from it all...

Sweet Victory...

Yesterday I took my idea about Planned Parenthood to work. I had a meeting with an old friend who works there and together we came up with some amazing ideas. From volunteer work to actually being in the clinic, im really excited that I now have not only a topic but a very good starting point.

When I went down there for my meeting, she gave me a tour of the building where I would be doing my volunteer work and she introduced me to everyone in the building. This meeting really put me at ease with my topic choice.

Art' though weekend swell?

This weekend as I was dusting my ficus I began to envision my new graduation project come to life. I was thinking of doing something involving Planned Parenthood and counseling teens. Maybe study the teen behavior and see exactly what changes happen when the teen has a place to go and get help.

Captains Log...

The other night I had the thoughts of coming up with a graduation project involving cinematography. I was thinking of talking about the process of making a movie and the different steps the director has to go through. I was also going to talk about the background of film making itself, starting with the past and going all the way to the future. Unfortunately this idea was taken from my grasps by Dorsey Wheeler,(no hard feelings Dorsey). So now I am back to square one...

The beginning of the end...

During my many years at City High I have heard alot about the dreaded..".graduation project". Every year I hear the same thing from a different batch. They always say how they are so stressed and that they are nervous about their presentations, but in the end they all say the same thing... IT WAS EASY! Now that I am currently taking the class for the project I see now why the said all those things. This projects decides whether or not you graduate and it puts alot of pressure on you towards the end, but I have a theory. Once you have completed all of your research and the preparation for the final product, the world will be lifted off of your shoulders. the advice given to me by my upper class men is to stay on track and do what needs to be done and I plan to stick to it.

So far I have a couple of ideas which were unfortunately shot down. They both involved children who either lived with single parents or were adopted and their behavior differences. The reason they were shot down is because of the fact that it might be too much, which is understandable.(no hard feelings Mrs. Savito) Although one of my main concerns about this whole project is that I am afraid that the topic i decide to stick with wont work and I will get back tracked...but only time will tell... wish me luck.
